CREDITAS Funds celebrate a remarkable year of success

May 2, 2025

Retail funds of CREDITAS investiční společnost (CIS) delivered exceptional returns in the past year. The Max Variant CZ mixed fund reported a 6.74% year-on-year growth, while the Real Estate fund outperformed expectations with a remarkable 10.6% appreciation. Since its founding in 2019, the Real Estate fund has experienced an impressive 40.04% appreciation, positioning itself among the elite Czech real estate investment funds. This is another significant milestone reached by CIS in its growth journey. Building on years of proven excellence in fund management, CIS has expanded its capabilities by securing the CNB licence that enables it to serve as an investment fund administrator.

Declining interest rates and recent inflation have pushed retail customers to explore alternatives beyond traditional savings accounts, such as fixed-term deposits and mutual funds. The CREDITAS Real Estate fund exemplifies this trend, having attracted CZK 550 million in fresh capital during the previous year,” reports Ivana Pícková, Head of Retail Banking at Banka CREDITAS.

CREDITAS Real Estate I, a SICAV sub-fund, is a special fund specialising in real estate market investments. The fund focuses exclusively on functional, cash-generating properties, with a portfolio dominated by commercial real estate, which spans warehouse facilities, logistics parks, and industrial complexes, while also including office buildings, and retail and multi-functional centres. The fund's current holdings include properties in Business Park Čestlice and Business Park Písek, alongside sites in Trmice, Pardubice, and Letňany.

Max Variant CZ aims to outperform traditional bond or money market returns through its strategic blend of stock and bond investments, occasionally enhanced with select investment fund securities. Its mixed nature enables the fund to navigate market conditions with greater flexibility, adjusting to yield opportunities and risk factors currently shaping both capital and money markets, all while operating within the parameters established by the fund's charter. In addition, CIS has expanded its operational scope with a licence from the Czech National Bank to administer investment funds. “Bringing fund administration in-house represents a strategic advancement for our operations,” explains Roman Dziadkiewicz, CEO of CREDITAS investiční společnost. “This capability allows us to maintain comprehensive oversight of investment fund processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ultimately deliver a more secure experience for our investors.”
