Banka CREDITAS Reports Record Profit for 2025
April 8, 2026
Banka CREDITAS achieved a record-high net profit of CZK 4.6 billion in 2025, the highest in its history. This result confirms its position among the fastest-growing banks on the Czech market. A key driver behind this performance was the acquisition of MeDirect Bank, which operates in Malta and Belgium. By entering the European banking market, Banka CREDITAS expanded its client base to 400,000 customers.

The results confirm a successful year in which Banka CREDITAS continued to strengthen its position on the domestic market in savings, investments, and corporate financing, while also advancing its technological development. In the autumn, the bank fully completed the integration of Max banka. Following the acquisition of the MeDirect Group, Banka CREDITAS and its subsidiaries now operate across four European markets, with its consolidated balance sheet total approaching CZK 300 billion.
“2025 marks an important milestone for us. Through the acquisition of the MeDirect Group, we have entered the European and eurozone markets. The record profit reflects our long-term, well-considered strategy, the trust of our clients, and the everyday efforts of our employees. It confirms that we are capable of dynamic yet sustainable growth, with a strong focus on service quality and innovation,” said Vladimír Hořejší, Chairman of the Board of Banka CREDITAS.
In 2024, Banka CREDITAS reported a consolidated net profit of CZK 770 million, making the 2025 result a significant year-on-year increase. This year, substantial investments are being made into a new core banking system, and clients will also benefit from modern, technologically advanced mobile and online banking services.
“Looking ahead, Banka CREDITAS aims to continue its growth on both the Czech and European markets, further develop its digital services, and deliver attractive solutions for savings, investments, and business financing. Last year, we significantly increased our equity to CZK 17 billion, which provides a strong foundation for the company’s future development,” added Tomáš Hubáček, co-owner of Banka CREDITAS.
