Cornerstone laid for the new CREDITAS headquarters in Karlín

February 25, 2026

The construction of the Rohan City A2 office building has entered a new phase with a ceremonial cornerstone laying. The building, located on Rohanské nábřeží in Prague 8, will become the new headquarters of Banka CREDITAS and other companies within the CREDITAS Group. Offering more than 17,000 sqm of leasable space, the project will provide facilities for nearly 2,000 employees and is scheduled for completion in mid-2028.

The project at Rohanské nábřeží in Prague 8 was acquired in 2024 from the developer Sekyra Group by Banka CREDITAS. A symbolic milestone in the construction process was marked by the ceremonial tapping of the cornerstone, attended by CREDITAS Group co-owner David Hubáček, Member of the Board of Directors of Banka CREDITAS and representative of the main investor Kamil Rataj, and Jiří Vajner, Director of CREDITAS Real Estate.

“Rohan is a strategic investment for us. We are building a headquarters that reflects the size and ambitions of the entire CREDITAS Group. This is not just about new office space, but about creating long-term facilities that will support our continued growth and strengthen the integration of our companies,” said Kamil Rataj, representative of the main investor and Member of the Board of Directors of Banka CREDITAS.

The new headquarters will offer a total of more than 17,000 sqm of leasable area. In addition to office space, the building will include a restaurant, a Banka CREDITAS branch, and additional representative commercial premises for the bank. The property will meet the most advanced standards in modern office development.

“Geothermal wells and foundation concrete works have already been completed, and work on the monolithic structures has commenced. Tender procedures are currently underway for the façade, masonry structures, and interior installations. We are constructing a modern and efficient building that will represent the stability and long-term direction of the CREDITAS Group,” added Jiří Vajner, Director of CREDITAS Real Estate, the company overseeing the construction. The total investment is expected to exceed CZK 2 billion.

Building A2 will form part of the new Rohan City district, comprising both office and residential developments near the Invalidovna metro station, where up to 11,000 people are expected to live or work in the future. The revitalisation of the more than twenty-hectare brownfield site is thus further establishing itself as a major commercial location, which will also include — after Stromovka — the second largest relaxation zone in Prague.
