CREDITAS Group Acquires Automotodrom Brno
October 14, 2025
The CREDITAS Group is significantly expanding its activities in the field of sports. Following its involvement in the successful return of the legendary MotoGP to the Czech Republic, the group is now acquiring the Automotodrom Brno itself.

The complex includes Polygon Brno – a state-of-the-art safe driving center – and a modern four-star hotel. Thanks to its infrastructure, strategic location, and timeless circuit layout, Automotodrom Brno ranks among the most important racing facilities in Central Europe, both from a sporting perspective and in terms of its economic contribution to the region. “It is an honor that, alongside our activities in banking, energy, and real estate, we are now taking over Automotodrom Brno – a true Czech gem, much like the Grandhotel Pupp. We believe we will bring fans unforgettable experiences and support the further development of this exceptional venue,” said Jiří Hrouda, CEO of CREDITAS Group.
Automotodrom Brno, home to the famous Masaryk Circuit, is an iconic site of Czech motorsport with a tradition dating back to 1930, when the first race was held on the original road circuit. The current complex, opened in 1987, has hosted MotoGP, Masaryk Racing Days, and many other prestigious events. It also serves as a venue for a wide range of sporting, corporate, and public activities – from test days, training sessions, and karting races to open track days for motorsport enthusiasts.
The ownership change follows shortly after the successful return of MotoGP to the Czech Republic, where the races made a comeback after a five-year hiatus. CREDITAS Bank was the main partner of the Czech Grand Prix, which attracted nearly 220,000 fans. Building on this success, it has already been confirmed that MotoGP will return to Automotodrom Brno in the coming years, with the next race scheduled for June 19–21, 2026.
“Without a strong partner such as CREDITAS Group, bringing MotoGP back to Brno would not have been possible. As the new owner, its contribution will be even more significant. I’m pleased that the original team will remain in place and that Automotodrom will continue to be a venue for top sporting experiences as well as numerous public and private events,” added Karel Hubáček, Chairman of the Board of Automotodrom Brno, the company operating the Masaryk Circuit.
