CREDITAS Real Estate Recognised for Rezidence U Milosrdných

Rezidence U Milosrdných by CREDITAS Real Estate has succeeded in the Building of the Year of the City of Prague 2025 competition. The jury recognised it as an exceptional example of new architecture in the historic centre of the capital.
The project received the Award for the Sensitive Integration of Contemporary Architecture into a Historic Environment. The building is located in U Milosrdných Street in Prague’s Old Town, just a short distance from the Convent of St Agnes. New architecture is rare in this location, and any such addition to the urban fabric must stand up not only on its own architectural merits, but also in relation to the surrounding buildings, the scale of the place and the requirements of heritage protection.

The architectural design was created by Zdeněk Fránek. He worked with the genius loci of the Old Town setting. The façade draws inspiration from details typical of this part of Prague and naturally follows the atmosphere of the narrow streets of the Old Town and Prague’s Stínadla district.
